My favorite is how people think he can pull everyone out of Iraq at the drop of a dime. People are forgetting, the UN already had an agreement which runs out in December, Currently they are working on rewriting that agreement. Meanwhile, we are considered guests in Iraq, under their government, once they want us out, we leave. Its not up to Obama. Right now they are already working on concessions about if we can have military bases there after we leave or not. Obama has nothing to do with this, but I'm sure he will take the credit. It has already been determined we will be out 2010, or 2011 if we maintain bases. This has been in the works even before anyone knew who Obama was.

Another classic is that once Obama gets elected that stock market will soar.. hows that one going?

It is sad that Obama has asked adults to believe that the war in Afghanistan is about stamping out terrorism, and sadder still that many believe it.

There are 2 distinct reasons to doubt it is anything to do with stopping terrorists before they terrorize abroad.:
    The first is logistical:
How can terrorists be hunted down and killed/captured, when the poppy fields, which are very big, and don't run away, are able to survive, and besides that:
what training do terrorists need that can only happen in Afghanistan?
It can be planned anywhere in the world.

    the second is sociological.
Are the family and friends of the countless inoccent victims of this invasion, such as the wedding party bombed by a US drone, more or less likely to sympathise with "terrorists", having seen their loved ones blown to bits by US and allied forces,

It's all about US hegemony in the Middle East, and specifically for the safety of any pipe line from the Caspian sea.

It doesn't even need that aim to succeed, to make it worthwhile for some people, such as arms manufacturers and government contractors, to them all wars are good wars.

Okay. Cindy feels that her son "CHOSE" to die for nothing. As if his brave, heroic sacrifice was for a lost cause. She wasn't protesting free choice, but i think you're smart enough to figure that out.

You can always write to her. Can you call, email, or text her? Try to keep in touch. Sometimes long-distance relationships work. Other times they fail. It depends on the desire for the relationship to work.

As an MP in Iraq we werre used for varieties of tasks. It changed up alot so we were always on our toes. One day you could be protecting VIPs, you could be guarding Prisoners, you could be doing convoy escorts, training Iraqi Police, doing raids, doing checkpoints and vehicle searches. Thats just a few of the tasks we did in Iraq. We also got to travel around the country alot.

And in regards to the 11B guy who says our casualties are high because we wait around to be killed. That is the most disrespectful, unbelievably-ignorant, short-sighted, retarded comment EVER made about ANY fighting Soldier in Iraq. If I didnt know any better I'd say you were a member of the Westboro Baptist Church that protests Military Members Funerals.

OmG don't you copy and paste this EVERY day? Are you ever going to stop with your propaganda? The first time I read it, I tried to keep an open mind. Then I saw that you posted it again and again and again. Obviously you are just trying to spread your propaganda.

Go fight Obama's wars? I don't advise this. Obama will keep these wars going for as long as he can. They are good for the economy, raise a lot of tax revenue, and provide bribes from the defense corporations who are getting rich off the wars. Obama is in the pockets of Haliburton now.

He will refuse to allow the military to win, yet he will refuse to bring home the troops. We have been there and done this before. Done by a white guy named LBJ.
