Afghanistan Travel and Tour Guide

American lives is not cheep and should not be considered as such. As of this week, there have been 1,443 coalition deaths in Afghanistan as part of ongoing coalition operations (Operation Enduring Freedom) and (ISAF) since the invasion in 2001. of this number, a total of 1,340 Americans have died in the country since 2001. This figure is alarming, and increases families sorrow of their love ones.
This means that day after day, the U.S Arm forces in Afghanistan is losing of its solders. The four American soldiers who were killed by a bomb in southern Afghanistan, according to Nato spokesman. Deaths bring the number of foreign forces killed in Afghanistan in 2009 reach 295, the deadliest year since the US-led invasion in 2001.
In this total, the American figure is for deaths “In and Around Afghanistan” which, as defined by the U.S. Department of Defense, includes some deaths in Pakistan and Uzbekistan and the deaths of four CIA operatives.
During the first five years of the war, the vast majority of coalition deaths were American, but between 2006 and 2009, a significant proportion were amongst other nations, particularly the United Kingdom and Canada. In the year 2008, the number was 294 military personnel died. This brings the total US and Nato casualties in Afghanistan as fast mounting.
For records, more than 30,000 extra US troops have been sent to Afghanistan since President Barack Obama ordered reinforcements in May, almost doubling his country’s contingent and increasing the Western total to about 100,000.
Last Sunday, the chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Mike Mullen, said the security situation in Afghanistan was “serious and deteriorating” and left open the possibility of further reinforcements. But would the more troops solve the problem of ISAF and American troops. In his words to CNN “Afghanistan is very vulnerable in terms of [the] Taliban and extremists taking over again, and I don’t think that threat’s going to go away,” I think this is not an advertisement for Taliban, more than an announcement of failure in Afghanistan. He confirmed that “The Taliban insurgency has gotten better, more sophisticated.” I think the pentagon, have asked how they became more sophisticated, and who supply them with sophistication? And may be answered these questions by action.
But the fact that American blood is paid in far away lands, where this blood can be saved and secured by the government. America is advised to revise its foreign policies and begin withdrawing its forces from abroad. Modern day technologies owned by the USA, is capable to control the world without wars. Attention of the Congress have to be redirected toward the safety and security of American citizens, at home and abroad, and to do that job, they have to think positively in terms of justice and human rights toward other nations and citizens. (not as they did in 768 Resolution). The past administration brought up these mistakes to America, and more and more, America is paying everyday, of its priceless American soldiers lives for those mistakes. It is very simple task for the congress, to use rationality and logic of their resolutions and to harm America depending more on their personal lobbyists interests on the White Hill.
A friend from the Arm Forces came recently from Afghanistan was right when she said: “It would be so difficult for President Barack Obama to divorce himself from the past administration,” Which is true, but I think, the President has to try to follow his initiative sincerely, for change to the better not to the worse. Our soldiers deserve better life with their families alive, not dead. Patriotism is not fulfilled these days only by armies. Taking into consideration the close relations of USA and Russia, after the so called Cold War. It is time to quickly think to secure American lives abroad and in locality. America has to find new methods of management and administration of reciprocal respect and compromising among nations, which can be easily accomplished by knowledge, understanding and appreciation, which I believe theory C. or Crescentology for the author, deals with conflict management and cultural normalization propose such concepts to bring peace worldwide, but neglected so far from Obama administration. I will be ready for any invitation to explain it for the congress and the President himself if they desire, to remind them that American interest should always come first in any decision concerning our soldiers IS NOT a political joke. Yes, it's silly to try and enforce 'your' values on societies with a totally different history/ culture. It's also silly to antagonise people who can be of help to you finding and capturing terrorists, lose their help , you're wasting your time !

It is pretty good but a bit too long to be one paragraph don't you think? It also depends what this first paragraph is about. If it is an essay your writing about then you really didn't hook the reader in much in the beginning. You just went straight to the point. Also the length of the paragraph really doesn't help when finding the thesis. Although your first sentence pretty much sums up what your talking about. It is good, but try to make this into 2 paragraphs and come up with an introductory paragraph because it seems you have the rest. I recommend you keep things like they are but start your essay off with the previously mentioned introductory paragraph.
maybe this can help

there are so many mountains and valleys in afghan that contrbute to the creation of small villages. add to the fact that there are not many natural resources in the region. it causes the villigers to live a more primitive lifestyle. whereas you have america and other western countries with TONS of natural resrouces and flat lands that allow their economies to prosper … in other words afghans don't have the resources avalable to live a lifestyle such as americans do.
*their culture is not soley based on there geography either … it has a lot to do with their religion and its guidlines for their lifestyle. the geography just reinforces the lifestyle that the quaran teaches.

Don't start with those CIA/ Military books.
These books will build for you a general (non-hollywood/ Fox News) image of the Afghan people and society:
'The Kite Runner',
'The Bookseller of Kabul',
'A Thousand Splendid Suns',
'Valley of the Giant Buddhas',
'A History of Modern Afghanistan'
For a more thorough analysis of what has been going on on 'other' fronts, I recommend the two books by Ahmad Rashid:
'Descent into Chaos: The United States and the Failure of Nation Building in Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Central Asia'
and
'Taliban: Militant Islam, Oil and Fundamentalism in Central Asia'
