Condor flies directly to Goa (India) from Germany and their flights start by November. Call them up and find out their schedules. It is now a scheduled flight and not a charter flight so I suppose you can get a one way ticket.
The best time for you to visit north India, especially the extreme north is around now as later on some routes get snowed in.
Sorry I can't help you on the overland route to Pakistan, Iran and Turkey as I've never tried it myself.
I am from Goa and so if you want any more info from here, contact me.

God"Say: we believe in God and in what has been revealed to us, and what was revealed to Abraham, Isma'il: Isaac, Jacob and The Tribes, and in (the Books) given to Moses, Jesus and the Prophets, from their Lord: We make no distinction between one and another, among them, and to God do we bow our will (in Islam)." (Qur'an, Al-Imran 3:84)

So what's your point?
"People who say no to the entire international community say no to Obama."
Big headline there.
How many times did these same people say no to Bush, Clinton, Bush and Regan?

You didn't mention your current salary in South Africa.
I think your overall package is decent. There are minimal deductions (if any at all). However, if you have some room for negotiation, do ask for some more for the base salary (120-125K). IT is an in demand field and 7 years of experience counts for something.
Some might think I am being thankless here to advise you to see if you can ask for more.. I know people who make much less (60K ish with MS degree) .. but that doesn't mean you should not negotiate. The salary at which you get hired initially makes a difference in the long run.
Summary: Very Good offer, you will save a lot. If possible, negotiate, If not, take it.

Hi Mr. Rizvi,
I'm Indonesian, and I got kind of the same offer like you, but for different House owner. I did reply most of email they send me and I did send him my CV. He send me the contract, almost exactly the same as they send you. I try to do small research on the Barrister company, which I can't find anything on that, either.
So, if you don't mind to ask, how far is your process? My process is been hold because I need to re-new my passport, so that is the only thing I haven't send them and that is why they haven't proceed any further. I think as long, we don't need to pay anything, we got nothing to loose to give it a try.
Hope you don't mind if we keep in touch and up-date each other. I'll email you once I got any news, luckily I have friend in UK that helping me to find more information regarding the Barrister Company, since that is the only thing that can make us strong if there is any problem.
regards,
Diana

I think Hillery Clinton summarized Saddam's relationship with 9/11 best ..
In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members. It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons."
Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002
As a sanctuary and an aid to al qaeda the threat of WMD including nuclear possibilities made him an important target for the well being of the US and the world. Afghanistan alone is not a threat , it did not have the capabilities of Iraq which is why both areas became targets..
