However, if there is it would last about 12-14 hours. If there's a connection, it may depend on the connecting airport. If you connect to NY, then the flight from LA to NY is about 6 hours, then to Afghanistan is about 13 hours. If you connect to Chicago, the flight to Chicago is about 4 hours, then to Afghanistan it's about 14 hours.
