Facts about the Beautiful City of Mathura
Mathura is a city within the Uttar Pradesh State in India. Its locals consider it as a holy city. It is situated about 50 kilometers on the northern portion of Agra and about 150 kilometers to the south portion of Delhi as well as approximately 20 kilometers from the Vrindavana. In addition, this city is the administrative center and headquarters of Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura District. The city was once an economic hub during the ancient times and lies within the junction of relatively significant caravan routes.
The city of Mathura is said to be Krishna’s birthplace. It is said that Krishna was born on the heart of Vraja. This site is now called “Krishnajanmabhoomi” which means “Krishna’s Birthplace.” During the ancient period, the temple of Keshav Dev was established on the same site of the legendary birthplace of Krishna, also known as an underground prison.
Mathura is also the capital city of the Surasena Kingdom as per the epic Bhagavata Purana and Mahabharata. This epic kingdom was ruled by Krishna’s maternal uncle called Kansa.
It is one of the first centers of production for Buddha’s images. Actually, the city is considered as among the first two production centers and Gandhara in Afghanistan or Pakistan is the other city. The human images of Buddha appeared at exactly the same time as in both production centers particularly during the 1st century AD.
The images of Buddha can be distinguished apart from each other for the images from Gandharan depict a clear inspiration from the Greco-Romans while the ones produced in Mathura resemble older fertility gods.
Muttra is a city that sounds like Mathura. This is the site where Jonathan Small was employed in the Sherlock Holmes story entitled,”The Sign of Four.” Although Muttra and Mathura sounds very familiar, Muttra is not really a place. As the book implies, this city does not have plantations of indigo in color and it is not near the northwestern provinces.

yeah, actually Iraq had nothing do to with terrorists, so all the lost living lives went for nothing. In another word it was a dumb-war from a very dumb person. war is not the solution to solve any issue, as violence results with more violence.

How much more distant can you get from the states to Afghanistan? If your husband doesn't want to see his girls that is sad and you need to think of them and address visitation with him. If you need further space – Divorce.

Afghanistan is becoming less stable every day, as the Taliban slowly becomes resurgent. It is a sad commentary,
but all of our resources gave us a strong position, which in
time was bound to lose, just like the Soviets did before us.

Wow. I completely understand your frustrations. I called around to a few hotels and so far haven't found anything… except possibly the Grand Hyatt Denver. It is a pretty nice hotel with the rate about 180 dollars a night. I believe that they have the in room tubs that can fit two…. Hope this helps. Go ahead and give them a call to double check – 303-295-1234.
Enjoy your time with your husband. I know how hard it is. I've been in your shoes. My ex is in Iraq.

Yes, you can pay by cash for the hotel.
Also, debit/credit cards are normally charged at check out in the morning and not at check in. They will however pre-authorize your card to see if it's stolen or has any funds.
The authorization should still go through because banks normally let you go below $0 and will charge you overdraft fees. So if the card is authorized but only charged the next day you should be fine.
